I worked with Andrew on a variety of projects and initiatives over 13+ years, in a variety of working relationship. In some capacities, Andrew was my internal client, in other capacities, I was his, and when our careers diverged, we were working in the same group.

Andrew is a natural leader. He strives to develop a high degree of moral in his teams while maintaining a firm hand in their operational success. His teams win together - as a team.

As an employee, Andrew is extremely loyal, even when his superiors deal him a bad hand. When everyone else is jumping ship, he hunkers down, inspiring those around him.

As a technical person, Andrew is always the guy you can go to for reliable answers. If he doesn't know something, he'll find it for you. If something looks fishy, he'll dig further. And he'll never pass the buck on his work if someone questions it - he owns it.

Andrew's not a one-trick-pony. I have personally known him to take part in application development projects as a developer, operational improvement projects, and even experimenting with emerging technologies to find new ways to improve operations.

Finally, I'm always impressed at Andrew's adventurous spirit. He's building a cabin, on his own. He joined parkour, because it looked interesting - and got others to join him! Did I mention he plays the guitar?

There are only a few people I consider myself lucky to have worked with in my career, and Andrew is one of the top on that list.
